2. Is the Ardenne Alumni Foundation the same as the Ardenne Alumni Association?
No. The Ardenne Alumni Foundation and the Ardenne Alumni Association are connected through their shared commitment to Ardenne High School, but they serve different purposes.
The Alumni Association focuses mainly on alumni engagement, networking and maintaining the bond among past students. The Foundation focuses on charitable fundraising, project implementation and structured support for the school and its students.
Both bodies work toward the same larger goal: helping Ardenne continue to seek the best.
3. What types of projects does the Foundation support?
The Foundation supports projects that may include:

- Student welfare and nutrition support

4. How can I make a donation?

Where a project is fully funded or no longer active, the Foundation may contact the donor to discuss applying the funds to a similar or related initiative.
6. Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
Yes. The Foundation will issue receipts for donations once the contribution has been received and verified. Donors should ensure that they provide accurate contact information, including an email address, so that receipts and acknowledgements can be sent.
7. Can overseas alumni donate?
Yes. Alumni and friends of Ardenne living overseas are welcome to support the Foundation. The website provides donation options suitable for local and international donors, including wire transfer details, online card payment options or other approved platforms.
8. How can I volunteer?
You may volunteer by completing the volunteer form on the Foundation’s website or by contacting the Foundation directly. Volunteers may assist with events, fundraising, mentorship, communications, project planning, logistics, professional services or student support initiatives.
9. What is the Optima 5K Run/Walk?
The Optima 5K Run/Walk is one of the Foundation’s signature fundraising events. It brings together alumni, students, families, corporate sponsors and the wider community. The main benefactor of this fundraiser is the Ardenne Alumni Wellness Center, set to be completed in 2027.
10. What is the Ardenne Alumni Wellness Centre project (Wellness Centre)?
The Wellness Centre is an initiative intended to support the physical, emotional and mental well-being of students and the school community, both at Ardenne and the wider school network in Jamaica. It reflects the Foundation’s broader commitment to helping students thrive not only academically, but also personally and socially.
11. How does the Foundation ensure donations are properly used?
The Foundation manages all funds received responsibly and transparently. Donations are applied to approved projects and initiatives, with oversight by the Foundation’s leadership.
