Florence “Flo” Darby, OD, B.A, LLB, CLE

Florence Darby is a prominent Jamaican attorney-at-law and dedicated Ardenne alumna whose roots at the school run deep.  She serves as Legal Advisor as on the Ardenne Board of Management, a role she has maintained for over twenty years.  A gifted vocalist, she flourished under the legendary music director Noel Dexter, earning national festival medals and going on to sing with the celebrated University Singers at UWI Mona. Flo has built a distinguished legal career while remaining a passionate advocate for education and community development. Known for her warmth and generosity of spirit, she has served as mentor and guide to aspiring young professionals. Flo brings to the Ardenne Alumni Foundation a lifelong commitment to giving back to the institution that shaped her.

Esther Tyson, CD, M.Ed, Dip.Ed, B.A.

Esther Tyson is one of Ardenne’s most beloved daughters, having served her alma mater as Head Girl, teacher, and ultimately its sixth Principal — a journey that speaks volumes about her lifelong devotion to the school. During her tenure as Principal from 2000 to 2011, she transformed Ardenne from a school of second choice into one of the most sought-after institutions in Jamaica. She previously served as Vice-Principal of St. Andrew High School for Girls. Honoured by the Government of Jamaica with the Order of Distinction (CD), Esther also serves as Vice-Chairman of Tarrant High School’s Board of Management, Director of Family Life Ministries, and Director of National Integrity in Action. She now brings her extraordinary legacy of leadership to her role as Deputy Chairman of the Ardenne Alumni Foundation.

Vilma McDonald, OD

Vilma McDonald, OD, is one of Jamaica’s most celebrated community servants and a proud Ardenne alumna whose life has been defined by excellence, service, and sport. A former national netball captain and President of the Jamaica Netball Association, she was conferred the Order of Distinction by the Government of Jamaica for outstanding public and voluntary service in the field of sports. She is also a past President of the Lions Club of Liguanea and served as Financial Controller for Carifesta 76. A long-serving civil servant, Vilma is a founding director of the Caribbean Community of Retired Persons (CCRP) and has chaired its prestigious Living Legacy Awards Committee. She has also served as Executive Producer of Ardenne Alumni events.

Jennings Gordon

Audrey Chin, FCA

Audrey Chin is a distinguished Jamaican financial executive and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica, with advanced degrees in Economics, Accounting, and Business. She served as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Client Management at NCB Insurance Company Limited, bringing expertise in retirement planning and financial strategy. A committed community leader, she has served as Director of the CHASE Fund, the Cultural Advisory Council at UTECH, and the Mona School of Business Editorial Advisory Board. Her deep ties to Ardenne are reflected in her tenure as a member of the school’s Board of Management, making her a natural champion of the Ardenne Alumni Foundation’s mission.

Rosemarie A. Henry, FCCA, MBA

Rosemarie A. Henry is a distinguished financial services executive and proud Ardenne alumna with over 30 years of experience in Jamaica’s insurance sector. She holds an MBA from Florida International University and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Rosemarie has served as Senior Director of Insurance at the Financial Services Commission of Jamaica, Vice-Chair of the Financial Inclusion Sub-Committee of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors and currently serves as Principal Officer at CUNA Caribbean Insurance Jamaica and President of the Insurance Association of Jamaica. A committed community servant, she brings both professional excellence and a generous spirit to the Ardenne Alumni Foundation.

Paul A. Barnett

Paul A. Barnett is a titan of the Ardenne alumni community and one of the foundation’s most steadfast supporters. Educated at Ardenne High School and Toronto Metropolitan University, Paul built a distinguished career in management consulting, financial accounting, securities operations, and business development through his firm, Paul A. Barnett & Associates Inc. A member of the Ardenne Alumni Association Toronto for 40 years and its long-serving President, he also served as the founding Chairperson of the Alliance of Jamaican Alumni Associations. The recipient of numerous honours — including the Governor-General’s Achievement Award, the Prime Minister of Jamaica Medal of Appreciation, and the BBPA Harry Jerome RBC Community Service Award — Paul serves as Toronto Chapter Representative on the Ardenne Alumni Foundation Executive Committee.

Dennis Livingston

Dennis Livingston is a dedicated Ardenne alumnus and a cornerstone of the foundation’s presence in the United States. Dennis serves as the Florida Chapter Representative on the Ardenne Alumni Foundation Executive Committee, playing a vital role in connecting the South Florida alumni community to the foundation’s mission. He also serves as Registered Agent of the Ardenne Alumni Association of Florida, Inc., a role that reflects the trust and confidence his fellow alumni have placed in him. Through his steadfast commitment to the Ardenne community, Dennis has been instrumental in rallying support from the Florida diaspora for key initiatives including the Ardenne Alumni Wellness Centre. He embodies the spirit of service and belonging that defines the Ardenne Alumni Foundation.

Uton Henry, MBA

Uton Henry is a distinguished Ardenne alumnus whose career exemplifies the power of discipline, leadership, and service. After an honourable 28-year career in the United States Army, Uton transitioned seamlessly into Corporate America, where he has built an impressive record in Finance and Human Resources. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an MBA, and has been recognised throughout his career for leading high-performing teams, improving operational processes, and driving growth. Passionate about mentorship and shaping future generations, Uton brings the same dedication that defined his military service to his role as Atlanta Chapter Representative on the Ardenne Alumni Foundation Executive Committee.

Roan Wallace

Roan Wallace is a distinguished Ardenne alumna and recently retired investment banking executive with over 40 years of experience at two of the largest financial institutions in the world. She built an impressive career specializing in derivatives trading and foreign exchange, navigating the complexities of global financial markets at the highest levels. Now in retirement, Roan remains as active and purposeful as ever — serving as Treasurer of her community’s civic organization, travelling, gardening, and cherishing time with family and friends. She brings her formidable financial expertise and community spirit to her role as New York Chapter Representative on the Ardenne Alumni Foundation Executive Committee.
